Be mindful. You don’t have to be on every social media channel. Experiment with what works for your brand and the image you want to project. Be consistent with the frequency of your posts so your clients and community know what to expect.
Have focus. Find content that represents your brand and values. You may want to differentiate between personal and professional pages if you want to keep those communities separate.
Be authentic. What do you stand for? Your clients and customers should easily understand your brand offering and positioning. Speak your truth.
Build a Community. Find out where your peers hang out and use the relevant hashtags for your business. Best practice on Twitter is three hashtags, but Instagram allows many more. Comment and engage with “your tribe.”
Share your stories. Your prospects and customers care about what you do, so keep them involved. Use the stories section in Facebook and Instagram to share your experiences.
